I'm Jay Duckworth the creator and founf]der of the Props Summit. The Props Summit was started in the autumn of 2008 as a thank you to the props people who had helped me transition into my new position ads props master at the Public Theater. In 2009 it was opened to all props people in NYC as a celebration of the beginning of the Theater Season and then in 2010 it took on a life of it's own. That year we started to bring in interns that finished their summer program who were ready to make working connections and we had our first workshop.
